Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie

1 9" pie shell
1 c sugar
1/2 c flour
1/2 c (1 stick) butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 c pecan pieces
1 c chocolate chips
1 t vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook pie shell for 5 minutes or until set. Beat eggs, gradually add sugar. Stir in flour, butter, nuts and chocolate chips. Stir in vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 35 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream!
